Amira is an admitted Solicitor with over 9 years of experience in commercial law and insurance. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Kaplan Business School, Master of Laws in International Economic Law from University of London and Bachelor of International Law from Kingston University.
Amira began her career as a lawyer in commercial litigation, insolvency, and corporate law across private practice and in-house roles locally and overseas. She then gained invaluable experience in the aviation insurance industry, representing Plaintiffs and Defendants including national and international insurers, airport and aerodrome operators and aerial application businesses across multiple jurisdictions.
Most recently, Amira worked as an Associate in the Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss team at a law firm, where she advised underwriters on coverage issues and defended clients varying from construction companies, property owners, and mining companies across liability, workplace incident, property damage, and personal injury matters.
Drawing from her extensive experience and her foundation in commercial law, Amira brings commercial expertise that uniquely positions her to understand client needs from all perspectives.
