Marc is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bellrock Advisory.
He is an admitted solicitor, and practicing legal, insurance and risk professional of more than 25 years’ experience.
A recognised thought leader in risk and insurance, Marc pioneered the unique methodology of holistic risk advisory and advocacy practiced at Bellrock. This methodology, combined with an unwavering commitment to client service and transparency, is at the heart of Bellrock Advisory’s success. Under Marc’s guidance and since 2016 the business has developed into a national risk advisory firm, now comprising 5 offices across Australia.
Marc’s experience in insurance started in the early 2000’s. He went on to expand his skill set, working at a boutique Sydney based intermediary where he led its financial lines offering and developed an underwriting agency. With this industry experience Marc switched to private practice where he became a Partner and served in the Insurance Group of Colin, Biggers & Paisley for close to 10 years. During that tenure Marc advised on insurance programmes, drafted policy documents and litigated claims made under various types of insurance policies.
During his tenure as CEO, Marc has demonstrated a special interest in people and leadership. He has entrenched a positive and purpose driven values-based culture. The success of this approach is evidenced by the Group’s significant growth, coupled with its industry leading staff and client retention rates.
In his role as CEO, Marc has fostered a commitment to risk education, thought leadership and technical excellence. Encouraging Bellrock’s people to intimately understand trending exposures commensurate to industry, ensures that clients are enabled to confidently navigate risk.
